The Volkswagen Jetta TDI is an exciting model in that it offers consumers good value for money. For those of you who are not familiar with the vehicle, it is essentially a small car that has been stretched to a saloon. It has been manufactured by Volkswagen since 2002 and can be seen in a variety of colours from bright red to blue and grey. While the styling is contemporary, it still has some features common in high performance saloons.

Despite its compact size, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI also comes standard with a rear wheel drive engine. With a powerful gasoline engine, the Jetta TDI should be able to generate power without having to sacrifice on acceleration and mileage. It also boasts a six-speed manual as opposed to a six-speed automatic transmission.

Like most vehicles in this range, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI also has an assortment of features including standard auto safety devices including front side airbags, front side curtain airbags, side airbags and front head and front door airbags as well as front seat side airbags and front seat head and front door curtain airbags. Additionally, the automobile also features a standard eight-inch touchscreen, a USB port, a memory slot for storing images and music files, a standard i-pod dock and a standard battery. Additionally, the automobile comes standard with a multimedia system including a digital clock, CD changer, radio, DVD player and television. A comprehensive audio system is also standard. Finally, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI also features a standard roof mounted battery.

As is common with other cars in this range, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI incorporates the same cloth materials and seat covers seen on the majority of its competitors. These cloth materials and seat covers come in a variety of colors and are comfortable to be used with. Furthermore, most Volkswagen parts suppliers offer a spare tire storage compartment that is compatible with the i-Tune. The only different between the standard jetta TDI and the premium extended version is the inclusion of android auto operating systems which allow the vehicle to connect to the internet and use the mobile internet capabilities to access the internet.

One of the biggest differences between the standard Jetta TDI and the extended model is the engine. The diesel-powered engine provides power comparable to many mid-size or small cars in its class. The biggest advantage of the diesel engine is that it has more power than its gasoline-powered competitor. With a final output of more than 675 Nm of torque and a weight of just over 2.6 tonnes, the engine can easily take the lead in power with no need for aftermarket enhancements. This allows the Volkswagen Jetta TDI to cruise at speeds up to sixty kilometres per hour and achieve a rate of acceleration that is unprecedented for a family car.

Volkswagen's new TDI Jetta offers up to sixty percent more cargo capacity than the company's previous generation Jetta TD. The car's new turbocharged four-cylinder engine also offers power comparable to many small vehicles in its class. In fact, the car's twin-wheel-drive system makes the power of the engine even more effective. With a capacity of only 4.2 litres, the new TDI Jetta still offers more passenger space than many sedans, although it loses out when it comes to cargo space to the compact sedan category.

Volkswagen's new Jetta TDI expands on the features already offered. Models with the Premium package include an automatic transmission with manual mode as an option. The only transmission available with the standard Jetta TDI is the standard Tipton gearbox which offers up to a commendable twenty-five thousand kilometer capacity between charges. Models with the Sport package, on the other hand, add a second gear from which you can increase your mpg capacity by up to fifteen percent. With the Plus package, you also get an aggressive lowering of the suspension at the front and a five percent lower ride.

The new Volkswagen Jetta TDI models have also been improved with regard to their power train and handling. A longer, wider and stronger engine allows it to produce more horsepower. This, in turn, increases the vehicle's overall torque, allowing it to respond faster to sudden changes in speed. A more powerful engine also means increased fuel efficiency, thanks to the new variable valve timing system that boosts fuel efficiency by reducing emissions. Volkswagen has also improved the emission levels of its diesels with the use of a new gasoline additive called Catalytic Converter. Other technologies such as Smart Boost and Steering Assist are also benefiting the Jetta TDI by improving its overall performance.
